Leah is the best. I didn’t write that, my friend Melissa did when she helped me bash together this website in case someone wants to offer me a book deal after listening to my story on The Moth podcast.

Maybe this would be easier in the third person. Leah is a writer and photographer who lives in Boston. Ah yes, much better. Her background in genetics and pharmacology (plus a guy, there’s always a guy, right?) brought her to the US from the UK around 18 years ago. Leah lives in fear of developing one of those weird transatlantic accents like Madonna, please don’t tell her if she has. She married the guy and then transitioned from the corporate world of medical devices to the obvious next career of photography. A surprise-divorce at 40 led her to move from Maine to Boston, an accidental storytelling class led to a win at The Moth GrandSLAM in Boston, and that led to this website. Leah is currently working on a memoir.
